Over the years, Lester Agency has build a strong catalogue in fiction, be it literary, upmarket or commercial both contemporary and in modern classics. The agency has promoted and contributed to the success abroad of several prominent French authors, such as: Jean-Paul Dubois (prix Goncourt 2019) Jean Echenoz (prix Goncourt 1999), Mathias Enard (prix Goncourt 2015), Anna Gavalda, Laurent Gaudé (prix Goncourt 2004), Jean-Christophe Grangé, Jean-Michel Guenassia, Christian Jacq, Pierre Lemaitre (prix Goncourt 2013), Marc Levy, Agnès Martin-Lugand, Guillaume Musso, Amélie Nothomb, Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt, Didier Van Cauwelaert (prix Goncourt 1994), Éric Vuillard (prix Goncourt 2017), Bernard Werber, Virginie Grimaldi...


The agency also represent a keen selection of Non Fiction titles, especially in History, Social Sciences, Current Affairs and Documents as well as Self Help and Lifestyle titles, thus offering our foreign publishers the latest trends. 


Another big part is the representation of Children's picture books as well as middle grade and YA, and graphic novels.


The agency attends all major international book fairs (Frankfurt, London, Bologna, Moscow) and also targets its specific markets, lately in Warsaw, Prague, Ljubljana and Sofia.


For Russian and Ukrainian territories and languages, the Agency is actively working with the classical works of Francoise Sagan, Henry Miller, Maurice Druon, André Maurois, Nina Berberova, Boris Vian, Henri Troyat, Alain Robbe-Grillet. For the same languages the Agency follows a long term collaboration with 2 Seas Agency (USA) - and Susanna Lea Asst (Paris-London-New York) -


In addition, the Agency has a list of Russian and Ukrainian speaking writers and collaborates with the Wiedling Literary Agency - (Germany) and occasionally with others agencies such as the Banke-Goumen-Smirnova Agency (Russia) and aims in the near future at developing a larger network to represent Eastern European writers worldwide.
